Best RV LED Lights

Everything in an RV interior runs on the 12 volt house system, so the first thing to verify is that a fixture is native 12V DC rather than a 120V household part that needs the inverter running. From there, output per fixture is what you compare, and the range is wide: a 16.4 foot tape run with 600 diodes puts out around 2,000 lumens across a whole ceiling, a 3.5 inch recessed dome is about 3.5 watts on its own, an ultra-thin 2.75 inch puck less again, and a 2.2 watt reading lamp is a task light only. Total the fixtures you plan to install rather than trusting one impressive number. Color temperature is the choice that changes how the coach feels, and it is where factory replacements often go wrong: 3000K is warm and reads as incandescent, 4000K is neutral, and anything at 6000K makes a small interior feel like a workshop. Pick one temperature and use it throughout, because mixed bins look worse than either choice alone. Dimming is worth paying for on the main ceiling runs, and there are two ways it arrives, an integral dimmer built into a light bar or an inline dimmer on a tape run; touch-switch reading lamps often include their own. Recessed fixtures live or die on cutout diameter and depth, so measure the hole and the space behind the ceiling panel before ordering. USB ports on reading lights are useful. Remote color-changing modes are not.
