What we liked
- + ANSI A14.2 certified and rated Type IA Heavy Duty for loads up to 330 lb
- + Collapses to 32 inches with storage straps and a carrying handle, small enough for most car trunks
- + Each step has a double height-locking latch, with 11.8-inch step spacing for balance while climbing
Trade-offs
- - The listing highlights do not give the ladder's weight or its standing height in A-frame mode
- - The listing highlights do not mention roof hooks, unlike the hook-equipped telescoping ladders in this guide
